HEALTHY, SAFE, FUN EXERCISE!

With smart phones, computers, and tablets… it’s getting harder and harder for us to find the time to exercise.

We solve that problem in every class. Every session is a FUN, full-body workout.

It keeps you healthy and strong…

Plus, our program is EXTREMELY safe.

In fact, martial arts has a lower injury rate than bowling! (Crazy, I know!) That’s because we put so much effort into stretching, proper technique, and coaching.

TANG SOO DO

Tang Soo Do is a traditional style of Korean martial arts, with linear strikes and a wide array of kicking techniques and strategies. “Tang Soo Do” means “The way of the Chinese hand”.

Tang Soo Do Moo Duk Kwan was developed by Grandmaster Hwang Kee after extensive training in the Korean martial art of Soo Bahk Do, along with training in both northern and southern Chinese Kung Fu styles.

TMAC blends aspects of various other martial art styles like Zen Do Kai, Aikido, Shotokan, Jujitsu and Tai Chi, in the one-steps, self defense and other training techniques.

IAIJUTSU

Iaido (Iaijutsu) is the contemporary Japanese art of drawing the long sword.  Iaido contrasts with kenjutsu (combative swordsmanship), techniques done with swords already drawn, and kendo, the Japanese sport of fencing.  Basic iaido kata combines drawing the sword with either a defensive block or cut, usually followed by another cut, then chiburi (moving the blade in such a way as to remove blood and tissue) and noto (returning the blade to the scabbard).

Iaido, as the sword-drawing forms became known in the 1930's, is now used not only to teach sword techniques, but as a form of mental and physical discipline, emphasizing correct technique and form, meditation and character development.

ARNIS

Pambuan Arnis is a Classical Arnis System from Santa Cruz, Laguna, Philippines.

Ama Guro Raffy Pambuan inherited his family’s system of Arnis from his father Lolo Guro Isidro Pambuan. He brought the art with him from the Philippines in 1983 when he moved to the United States. In 1993, he was convinced to begin teaching his art to a select group of students.

In 1996, Ama Guro was inducted into the World Head of Family Sokeship Council. Today, he continues to teach a small group of dedicated students.
